What makes a good mime?

* Body control: Mimes must have excellent control over their bodies in order to create illusions and tell stories through movement. They must be able to move fluidly and gracefully, and they must be able to hold poses for long periods of time.

* Facial expressions: Mimes must be able to convey emotions and thoughts through their facial expressions. They must be able to exaggerate emotions and make them visible to the audience.

* Imagination: Mimes must have a vivid imagination in order to create the illusions that they perform. They must be able to see the world in a different way and to find the humor and the beauty in everyday objects and situations.

* Timing: Mimes must have excellent timing in order to create comedic effects and to tell their stories effectively. They must know how to build tension and release it, and they must be able to work in sync with the other members of their troupe.

* Confidence: Mimes must have the confidence to perform in front of an audience and to make themselves vulnerable. They must be able to connect with the audience and to make them believe in the illusions that they create.
