What is audio scrubbing?

Audio scrubbing is the process of quickly moving (or "scrubbing") through an audio file to select a specific point in the audio. To scrub through audio, you usually can use a computer application or a media player. For example, in many media player applications, you can click and drag the playhead (the vertical line representing your position in the audio file) to the left and right to scrub through the audio. Scrubbing can also be done using a keyboard shortcut, typically by pressing the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard.

Audio scrubbing is a useful tool for music editing, podcast editing, and other types of audio production. It allows you to quickly navigate to a specific point in the audio file, making it easier to select the parts of the audio you want to use or edit.
