1. Turn your radio "On" and make sure you're on a station that's working, not scanning for stations.
2. Press and hold the "Radio Scan" button for 5 seconds and the screen should display the word "SAFE".
3. When "SAFE" is displayed, turn your radio "Off".
4. Press the following buttons in order:
- Short Press the "1" Number Button.
- Short Press the "2" Number Button.
- Press and hold the number "3" Number Button for several seconds.
Now, the screen should display a 4 digit code. This is your Anti-Theft Code. Record this code and ensure it is correct - you'll need it to unlock the radio.
- If the wrong number displays while you are holding down the number "3" Number Button, you held the button too long and the number that displays is higher than the actual number. If this happens, start again and release the button once the correct code displays.
5. Press the number buttons to enter your 4 digit code and press the "AS" button to confirm your entry. Your Audi radio will then switch off.
6. Turn your Audi radio "On" again and it will operate as usual.
Method 2: Finding Your Code Through Your Audi Dealership:
1. Collect your Audi's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), located on your vehicle registration or on the driver's side door pillar under your Audi's hood.
2. Visit an Audi dealership or Authorized Service Center with the VIN.
3. Provide your VIN to the service department and they will give you the code for your radio.
