How do you remove a 2001 Bonneville radio?

To Remove the Radio From a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical damage from occurring while you are working.

2. Remove the center console trim panel. There are four screws that hold it in place, two at the front and two at the rear.

3. Remove the four screws that hold the radio in place. Two screws are located at the top of the radio, and two screws are located at the bottom.

4. Pull the radio out of the dash. Be careful not to damage any of the wiring.

5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the radio. There are two harnesses, one for power and one for speakers.

6. Remove the radio from the vehicle.

To install a new radio, simply reverse the steps above.
