Mood Swing Records is an indie record label that traces its beginnings to early 1990s recording sessions in a ramshackle studio located in an old meat locker. Most of the label's artists are and have historically been punk rock bands, though its list of releases as of 2010 includes a broader range of rock sub-genres. The label is headquartered in Mood Swing's independent record store, Revolutionary Records. In keeping with the label's commitment to helping local artists get exposure, a bi-weekly local radio show, Killed by Radio, is broadcast live from Revolutionary Records. Black Label Records is an independent rap and hip-hop label that has been featured in the "Be On The Look Out" section of HHH Magazine, a hip-hop industry publication. The label's breakout artist is Flam-Bz, a transplant in the Atlanta hip-hop scene who quickly began collaborating with established local rappers including Big Gipp of Goodie Mobb, Lil Scrappy and Kurupt. Black Label Records uses state-of-the-art recording and production equipment and the talent of a wide network of local producers to support the visions of its artists, and its distribution capabilities include digital downloads and ringtones.
