Instructions

  1. Recording with Cubase

    • 1

      Open Cubase.

      Left click "File" at the top left corner.

      Select "New Project."

    • 4

      Select "Empty."

      Right click in the blue/gray area and select "Add Audio Track."

    • 6

      Left click the track to enable recording.

    • 7

      Left click the round record button on the transport panel to begin recording.

      Press the space bar or the stop button on the transport panel to stop recording.

      Left click the "Return To Start" button from the transport panel.

    • 10

      Left click play to listen to the recorded audio.

    Adding Effects

      Left click "Inserts" on the left of the screen.

      Select one of the 8 open inserts boxes.

      Select the desired effect from the inserts list.

    Exporting Audio

      Drag the mouse over the time line to the start of audio. Left click the top left corner when the pencil icon appears.

      Drag the line right to end of audio.

    • 16

      Left click "File."

    • 17

      Select "Export," then "Audio Mixdown."

    • 18

      Choose desired format and settings; then select "Export."
