How to Remove a Voice From Music With a Audio Editor

When it comes time to record a voice demo, you may want to sing to a music track. If you have been unable to find a karaoke version of your chosen song, you have two options: use live accompaniment or remove the voice track from a song. Depending on how a song is recorded, this can be completed in varying levels of success. Removing the vocals from a song takes out the "center" channel, which is the channel where most modern vocals are recorded. You may be unable to complete this task if your desired song was recorded prior to 1980 because of the way it was recorded. The program mentioned here can be downloaded as a free demo online.
