How to Make a Recording on the Computer

All PCs running Microsoft Windows offer the capability for users to record on their computer. Recording on your computer can be useful for recording spoken word, music or conversations that require notation. Computers record through sound cards, which take audio signals from a microphone and turn them into binary, a digital code made-up of ones and zeros. These numbers are organized in a specific sequence and turn into sound on your computer.
