How do you burn the recordings off of Garage Band onto a CD?

Step 1: Gather Materials & Equipment

- Blank CD-R or CD-RW

- Good-quality CD burner

- Mac computer with GarageBand

- USB or FireWire cable (if your computer doesn't have a built-in CD/DVD drive)

Step 2: Prepare GarageBand Project for Burning

- In GarageBand, ensure that all your songs or projects are finalized.

- Edit and mix the songs as desired, ensuring they're ready for burning onto a CD.

Step 3: Insert Blank CD into Drive

- Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into your CD burner.

- Make sure the blank side is facing down if your burner has a tray-style drive.

Step 4: Burn the CD with iTunes

- Open the "Finder" on your Mac and locate your GarageBand project file.

- Drag the project file to your iTunes Library.

- Once imported into iTunes, select all the songs you want to burn onto the CD.

- Right-click on one of the selected songs and choose "Burn Playlist to Disc" from the context menu.

- Check the "Audio CD" option under "Disc Format."

- Insert a blank CD if you haven’t already, then click "Burn" to start the process.

Step 5: Verify Burned Tracks and Eject CD

- Once the burning is complete, iTunes will display a notification.

- The newly burned CD should automatically be ejected from your CD/DVD drive.

- Check your CD in a compatible player or computer to ensure the tracks are playable and recorded successfully.
