Make sure that your computer has a CD-ROM drive. If it doesn't, you can purchase an external CD-ROM drive that connects to your computer via USB.
Step 2: Launch iTunes or Windows Media Player.
iTunes is the default media player for Mac computers. Windows Media Player is the default media player for Windows computers.
Step 3: Select the CD from the list of available devices.
In iTunes, the CD will appear in the left-hand sidebar under "Devices". In Windows Media Player, the CD will appear in the left-hand pane under "Library".
Step 4: Select the songs you want to import.
In iTunes, click on the "Music" tab in the main window. In Windows Media Player, click on the "Rip" tab in the main window.
Select the songs you want to import by clicking on the checkboxes next to them. You can also select all of the songs on the CD by clicking on the "Select All" button.
Step 5: Click on the "Import" or "Rip" button.
In iTunes, click on the "Import CD" button. In Windows Media Player, click on the "Rip CD" button.
iTunes or Windows Media Player will begin importing the songs from the CD to your computer's hard drive.
Step 6: Connect your MP3 player to your computer.
Use the USB cable that came with your MP3 player to connect it to your computer.
Step 7: Select the songs you want to transfer to your MP3 player.
In iTunes, select the songs you want to transfer by clicking on the checkboxes next to them. You can also select all of the songs in your library by clicking on the "Select All" button.
In Windows Media Player, click on the "Sync" tab in the main window. Select the songs you want to transfer by clicking on the checkboxes next to them. You can also select all of the songs in your library by clicking on the "Select All" button.
Step 8: Click on the "Sync" button.
In iTunes, click on the "Sync" button in the bottom-right corner of the main window. In Windows Media Player, click on the "Start Sync" button in the bottom-right corner of the main window.
iTunes or Windows Media Player will begin transferring the songs from your computer to your MP3 player.
Step 9: Disconnect your MP3 player from your computer.
When the transfer is complete, disconnect your MP3 player from your computer. You can now listen to your songs on your MP3 player!
