How do you play b flat and sharp on the recorder?

B Flat:

1. Half cover/shade the bottom hole with your right-hand thumb.

2. Cover all other holes.

B Sharp:

1. Cover the bottom hole entirely with the right hand thumb.

2. Cover all additional holes except for the fingering hole below that (hole 6) and the top one (hole 1).
