Do people still record on vinyl records anymore?

While vinyl records have experienced a resurgence in recent years, they aren't a primary medium for recording music. Most music created today is digitally recorded and distributed. It is worth noting, however, that some niche markets still use vinyl records for specific reasons, such as:

1. Collector's Value and Nostalgia: Vinyl records are viewed by some as collectibles, and audio enthusiasts appreciate the warm and unique sound associated with analog recordings. For this reason, there are limited pressings of new and old releases on vinyl, aimed at collectors and those who prefer the format.

2. DJing and Turntablism: Vinyl records are still used by DJs in specific genres of music, such as electronic and hip-hop, for their distinct characteristics when manipulated on turntables.

3. Audiophile Releases: Some audiophiles and music producers believe that vinyl records can offer a superior listening experience compared to digital formats. Therefore, a small portion of music recordings are still released in high-quality vinyl formats for audiophile enthusiasts.
