Place the tracks that you want to use in one single folder. Make sure that you place the folder in an easy to find location. Also, make sure that all of your tracks have the same sound quality. For example, only include high-quality MP3 tracks in your folder.
Click on the "File" option with Ableton open and click on the "New Live Set" option. Click the "Browse" button and locate the folder where all of your tracks are. Save the live set project to this folder by selecting the folder and clicking on the "Save" button.
Change your view to "Arrangement" mode by clicking on the Arrangement icon located at the top right corner of the application. With the folder containing your tracks open, drag the songs into each numbered slot with your mouse into the application in the order you want them to appear in the mix.
Edit the sound for each song in the mix to allow them to run smoothly into each other. Control the volume of each track using the equalizer. You can hear how one song will go into the other by clicking on the end of a song and pressing the play button. Click on the "File" option and then click on the "Save" option to save the mix. You will now have successfully created your mix.
