Open a graphic design program of your choice. Create a new image with the dimensions of three and a half inches wide by two inches tall.
Draw a thin line around the entire image, which represents the business card, so that you create rectangular border. The border will enable you to cut out the business card easily after printing.
Find music-themed fonts that relate to the type of music you enjoy by searching through free font websites such as Font Space, Dafont and Key 4 Song.
Music fonts come in two types. The first type displays letters and numbers that resemble musical notes or instruments. For example, it may display each letter inside of a music note or piano key.
The second type of music font does not display letters and numbers, but displays music images instead. A music note font would display a different symbol for each keyboard character. A musical instrument font would display a different musical instrument for each keyboard character.
Download and install music font files onto your computer (see Resources.) If you love music in general, download music note fonts. If you play a particular instrument, download fonts that contain images of that instrument.
Create a business card border using downloaded font images. Type small music notes or musical images along the entire top and bottom of the business card. If you want a more subtle card, type a single music character in each corner.
Create a background image by typing musical-image font characters in a large font size in a very light color or shade along the center of the business card. If you are printing cards in black and white, type the musical-image character in a light shade of gray. If you want a lively looking business card, type several music symbols along the body of the card. If you want a simple business card, type a single music character on both the right side and left side of the card.
Type your name in large font in the top center of the business card in a music-letter font. If the characters of your chosen font are difficult to read, use it for your initials only. Type the rest of your contact information underneath your name using a standard text font that matches the music letter font. For example, if the music font uses bold lettering, use a similarly bold font for the rest of your text. Underneath your contact information, include a short tag line about yourself or your love for music. If you play music professionally, your tag line may read, "Professional Pianist with 12 Years Experience." If you enjoy music as a hobby, your tag line may read, "Addicted to Music."
Create a second image with the dimensions of a full page document. Dimensions differ based on your printer settings. For example, if you set your printer page size to "letter," then the dimensions would be eight and a half inches wide by 11 inches tall.
Copy the entire business card image using the "select all" function. Paste it multiple times onto the large document image created in Step Six until the entire page is filled with business card images. Exact numbers depend on your settings, such as printer page size and margin widths.
Print out the document. Cut out individual business cards. Laminate each card for a professional look.
