Visit a website that offers free online music remixing tools. Examples include SpliceMusic, LoopLabs and Splice.
Sign up for free membership with the website.
Choose a song for remixing. You can select an MP3 file for a song you would like to remix and upload it to the web server using the "Upload" or "Open" feature, or you can choose from songs already available on the website for remixing.
Speed up or slow down the song by adjusting the "Tempo" slider up or down.
Add sound effects and additional instrumentation by searching through the website's library of available free sound samples. Click on the different instrument options to hear samples and select the ones you want to add.
Explore the "Effects" settings and experiment with different effects, such as reverb, echo and robotic effects.
Add your own sounds. Using the "Record" feature, you can record directly onto the music project in real time and add vocals or your own instrumentation to the mix.
Save your finished remixes. You can save them to your computer and share them with other users in the online community.
