Jeff 92 (WJEF 91.9 FM) is owned by the Lafayette School Corporation and is the Lafayette area's only student-run radio station. The channel is on air throughout the year, and plays an eclectic mix of primarily pop music from the 1970s and 1980s. It is during the school year that the student involvement figures most prominently. Volunteer student DJs host a morning program from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday through Friday during the school year. A request line is available. For local sports fans, the station airs live broadcasts for Lafayette many Jefferson High School home games.

WBAA (Purdue AM 920/101.3 FM) is a National Public Radio affiliate and the official radio station of Purdue University in West Lafayette. Morning and evening drive time programming consists of news and commentary programs. Programming is split between AM 920 and 101.3 FM. In 2008, WBAA-AM (920) converted to HD radio technology, which means listeners can tune in to a range of AM programs in FM quality stereo with a high-definition receiver. In 2009, WBAA-FM (101.3) converted to HD radio technology and the broadcast power was increased to 14,000 watts.
For several decades, it has broadcast many live Purdue University sporting events. On the other end of the spectrum, the station hosted its own Saturday evening jazz program for a number of years.

WASK 98.7 FM (Battle Ground) had shared its programming for over a decade with AM 1450, when in 2006 the two stations split their programming. Today, WASK FM plays a mix of oldies primarily from the 1960s and 1970s.
It features local news from Lafayette television station WLFI Channel 18, it was previously a UHF channel before the conversion to the digital signal format.

WAZY FM (96.5 FM) goes by the brand name Z96-5 and specializes in Top 40 programming. The channel also features live broadcasts from Purdue University sporting events. The station is owned by Artistic Media Partners, Inc. Like many local Lafayette radio channels, the station broadcasts from a shared facility on the south side of Lafayette.
