How to Clean a Roland Keyboard
Roland is a widely known brand of musical instruments. Founded in the 1970s, Roland was one of the early pioneers in digital music, and its innovations and explorations in the field helped produce the digital piano keyboard. Many varieties of synthesizers, keyboards and electric pianos later, Roland continues to manufacture musical instruments. Cleaning the keyboard is part of the regular maintenance needed to keep Roland keyboards in proper working order with aesthetic appeal.

- Mild liquid dish soap
- Small bowl
- 2 clean, white cloths
- Cotton swabs

Mix warm water and a small amount of gentle dishwashing soap in a bowl.

Moisten slightly a clean, white cloth. Wipe carefully over the surface of each key and other exposed surface areas of the keyboard with the moistened cloth. Keep water out of speakers or other internal components.

Wipe over the cleaned areas with a the other dry, clean cloth to soak up excess moisture.

Dip a cotton swab in the soapy mixture. Clean dirty tight spaces on the keyboard with the moistened cotton swab.
