How to Build a Headphone Amp From a Cassette Player

Headphone amplifiers for guitars or other instruments are convenient for private practicing, but can cost from $30 to $60. Create your own easily by using a standard cassette deck and some additional audio cables, purchasable at any electronics shop. While the quality of this amplifier may not be as high as a dedicated headphone amplifier, it is a cheap and easy way to practice with an amplifier.
