The Joe Barresi Evil Drums SDX pack was created by famed rock engineer and producer, Joe Barresi. It features six full drum kits, plus six additional snares and six extra kicks. This diverse group of samples was recorded onto analog tape using Studer tape machines and Neve consoles. This sample pack is available as a set of five DVDs and works with Superior Drummer 2.0, a Pro Tools HD compatible drum sampler.
The Smart Loops SL Reference Kit is a collection of more than 300 MB of 24-bit drum samples. Recorded with high-quality mics and preamps, all of the included samples were played by Smart Loops founder and Pearl drums artist, Frank Basile, on a Pearl Reference Series kit. This collection was also recorded dry, to provide accurate and unprocessed reference samples.
The Discrete Drums' Pro Set drum library was recorded using prominent drummers, producers, engineers and studios. This set features both loops and one-shot samples at a variety of tempos. Diverse genres are also represented, including rock, country and world. Each track in this collection is provided separately, which allows them to be customized individually.
A Fistful Of Drummers is part of the Drumdrops series of drum performance libraries. The samples in this collection are based on 40 performances, recorded on analog tape and vintage mics for a classic-sounding drum. The collection is available on DVD as either a collection of 16-bit loops or 24-bit multitrack performances, with sound captured from each of the individual drum mics.
Samplebase has 34 instrument sets featuring audio, MIDI and effects files. These instrument sets, called "Soundblocks" also contain both loops and individual instrument samples. These Soundblocks can be imported into Pro Tools and as audio or MIDI, or they can be loaded into the company's proprietary sampler "Satellite." Soundblocks cover a variety of genres including world music, hip hop, techno and rock.
