Decide what music style you need for the event. Determine whether multiple moods or styles of music are necessary during the event.
Add the amount of time the music plays before the first seminar session, during the sessions, on breaks between sessions and after the sessions end for the day. Name that number the daily total.
Multiply the daily total times the number of days of the event. Name that number the seminar total.
Compile a list of songs from the music style you chose. Put the length of each song in minutes and seconds next to its title. Total the song lengths on the list. Compare the list total to your seminar total. Add songs to the list until the total song lengths are more than the seminar total.
Revise the order of the songs on the list to match the order that you will use them during the seminar. Note whether any songs serve specific functions during the event.
Choose the media format for the music during the event. Determine if the sound system at the event venue has the capability to play music from the media format you chose.
Put the song recordings in the order you listed.
