How to Make Album Jackets
Musicians and bands can now bypass record companies with access to free or low-cost recording software. Most computers are equipped to record from recording software directly to compact disc. For large production jobs, it may be more feasible to go through a professional agency, but for small projects of 100 units or less, music artists may save time and money by handling the production in-house. Creating the album jacket is the final step before marketing the finished product. Free Web-based services such as Create Space or Big Huge Labs provide templates to make album jackets in a few simple steps. (This article will use Big Huge Labs as an example.)
