Detach the original guitar strings from the guitar if they are still attached. Loosen the strings by turning the tuning peg on the neck to the left until the strings comes free of the guitar. Pull out the small pin at the base of the bridge to remove the bottom portion of the string.
Place the bottom portion of the string on the peg hole that is located at the base of the bridge. Tighten the string by securing the peg by pushing it in place or turning it to the right.
Pull the string through the small hole in the top of the guitar. Pull the string until there is no more slack and turn the peg at the top of the neck until the tuning is correct.
Bend the string toward the back of the guitar neck to create a crease in the guitar string.
Cut off any excess portion of the string with a pair of scissors.
