How can you tell when a guitar pick is worn out?

Signs of a worn out guitar pick:

* The pick is visibly thin or has deep grooves.

* The pick is noticeably rough or has a fuzzy texture.

* The pick is no longer able to produce a clear, consistent tone.

* The pick is difficult to control and feels “slippery” when playing.

* The pick produces a dull or muffled sound when strumming.

* The pick is no longer able to hold its shape and bends or warps easily.

When in doubt, it's best to replace your guitar pick with a new one. A worn out pick can affect your playing and hinder your progress, so it's important to keep them in good condition.
