Are their instruments made of wood or metal in ensemble?

The composition of musical instruments in an ensemble can vary greatly depending on the genre of music being performed. In a symphony orchestra, the majority of instruments are acoustic and made from a combination of wood and metal. Wood is used in the construction of string instruments such as violins, violas, cellos, and double basses, as well as the frames of harpsichords and pianos. Metal is used in brass instruments such as trumpets, trombones, French horns, and tubas, as well as the cymbals, triangle, and gongs of the percussion section. In a jazz band, the instruments are typically made of metal and include the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and piano. In a folk or bluegrass ensemble, the instruments may include acoustic guitars, banjos, mandolins, and fiddles (or violins). In a rock or pop band, the instruments are often electric and may include guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, and drum kits.
