2. Remove the brake drum retaining screws from the rear of the brake backing plate.
3. Carefully pry the brake drum off of the axle flange using a pry bar or a large screwdriver.
4. Once the brake drum is removed, remove the brake shoes and inspect them for wear. Replace the brake shoes if necessary.
5. Reinstall the brake shoes and install the brake drum in reverse order of removal.
6. Tighten the brake drum retaining screws and reinstall the wheel.
