Who invent gramophone?

The gramophone was invented by Emile Berliner in 1887. Berliner was a German-born American inventor who also developed the flat disc record, which was a significant improvement over the wax cylinders used in earlier sound recording devices. The gramophone quickly gained popularity as a means of recording and playing back music, and it remained the primary method of home audio entertainment until the introduction of the compact disc in the 1980s.
