How many key on piano?

There are a different number of keys depending on the size and type of piano. An upright piano typically has 88 keys, while a grand piano can have up to 102 keys. The keys are divided into two groups, the white keys (natural notes) and the black keys (accidental notes). The white keys are arranged in a repeating pattern of seven, starting with the note C. The black keys are placed irregularly between the white keys.
