Lennon attended Quarry Bank High School in Liverpool, where he met Paul McCartney. He was a good student and loved to write, but he was also rebellious and often got into trouble with the teachers. In 1957, he was expelled from school for truanting.

McCartney also attended Quarry Bank High School, where he met John Lennon. He was an excellent student and loved music. He played the guitar and sang in several school bands. In 1957, he graduated from high school and went on to study at Liverpool College of Art.
George Harrison
Harrison attended Dovedale Primary School and then Liverpool Institute for Boys. He was a good student and loved to play the guitar. He joined the Beatles in 1960, when he was 17 years old.
Ringo Starr
Starr attended Dingle Vale Primary School and then St. Silas Church of England School. He was not a very good student and dropped out of school at the age of 15. He joined the Beatles in 1962, when he was 21 years old.
