How do you replace a radio in 1996 Dodge Intrepid?

Tools:

- Screwdriver

- Pliers

- Wire cutters

- Electrical tape

Instructions

1. Disconnect the battery. This will prevent any electrical shock or damage to the radio.

2. Remove the trim piece around the radio. There may be screws holding it in place, or it may be held in by clips.

3. Remove the mounting bolts for the radio. There will be four bolts, two on each side of the radio.

4. Disconnect the wiring from the radio. There will be a harness of wires connected to the back of the radio. Use the pliers and wire cutters to disconnect the wires.

5. Remove the old radio.

6. Install the new radio.

7. Reconnect the wiring to the new radio.

8. Replace the mounting bolts for the radio.

9. Replace the trim piece around the radio.

10. Connect the battery.
