Is a c melody saxophone rare?

The C melody saxophone is a less common variant of the saxophone family, pitched in the key of C. It was popular during the early 20th century, particularly in the 1920s and 1930s, but its use declined significantly after World War II. While not considered particularly rare, it is certainly less commonly encountered compared to other saxophone types such as the alto, tenor, or baritone saxophones.
