1. Attach the String Retainers
Position the string retainer bars to the bridge posts (the top of the post, above the allen screws). Tighten securely with a 3mm allen wrench.
2. Loosen the locking nut
Use a 4mm allen key to loosen the lock nut. Loosen enough so that you can spin it by hand. Loosen all 6.
3. Insert bridge pins to back of guitar
Insert the bridge pins into the holes on the back of the guitar. They should only go in part way.
4. Place strings
Place the balls on the end of the strings into the bridge pin. Hand tighten bridge pin using a 5mm allen wrench. String should pass through the string through body hole as you tighten. Repeat for all 6 strings.
5. Thread string around tuning post and insert into lock nut
Leave about 2-3 inches of slack string. Insert string into lock nut.
6. Hand-tighten string by turning the tuning peg
Use the tuning peg to hand-tighten string. Repeat for each string.
7. Lock the string into place using the locking nut
Spin the locking nut until the string can no longer be turned by hand. Repeat for all 6 strings.
8. Use the tuning pegs to tune strings to desired pitch
Tune strings to the correct notes.
9. Repeat steps 6 and 7 if string still rotates.
If the string still rotates, you will need to repeat steps 6 and 7 before proceeding to step 8.
10. Tune your guitar
Use a tuner to tune your guitar to the desired pitch.
