What does a trigger trombone look like?

A trigger trombone is a trombone that has a trigger mechanism that allows the player to slide the trombone's slide with one hand, leaving the other hand free to move the tuning slide or to play notes on the valves.

It looks similar to a regular trombone, but it has a lever or trigger near the slide. When the trigger is pulled, it releases a catch that allows the slide to move freely. The trigger can be pulled with the thumb or the index finger of the right hand.

The trigger is mounted on the outer slide tube, and when activated, it provides additional leverage to move the slide. This mechanism allows the player to operate the instrument with more flexibility, speed, and accuracy, providing greater command over the instrument's pitch and tone.
