In piano time book 1 there is a section on page 22 called key signature and I play it?

The section on page 22 of Piano Time Book 1 discusses key signatures. A key signature is a group of sharps or flats placed at the beginning of a staff to indicate the key of the piece. To play a piece with a key signature, you will need to follow the sharps or flats indicated in the key signature when playing the notes in the piece. For example, if the key signature has one sharp, you will need to play all of the notes in the piece that are marked with a sharp symbol (#).

Here are the steps on how to play a piece with a key signature:

1. Identify the key signature. The key signature is located at the beginning of the staff, just after the clef sign.

2. Play the sharp or flat notes first. If there are notes with sharps or flats in the key signature, play these notes first, before playing the rest of the notes in the piece.

3. Follow the sharps or flats when playing the other notes. When you play the rest of the notes in the piece, you will need to follow the sharps or flats indicated in the key signature. For example, if the key signature has one sharp, you will need to play all of the notes in the piece that are marked with a sharp symbol (#).

By following these steps, you will be able to play any piece of music with a key signature.
