How do you finger a F note on the alto sax?

To play an F note on the alto saxophone, you will use the following fingering:

Left Hand

_ Index finger: D key

_ Middle finger: C# / G# key

_ Ring finger: B key

Right Hand

_ Index finger: F key

_ Middle finger: E key

_ Thumb: palm key

Once you have placed your fingers on the correct keys, blow air through the saxophone with a steady embouchure. You may need to adjust the position of your fingers and the amount of air you blow until you produce a clear, consistent F note.
