Step 1: Remove the Mouthpiece:

- Using a slight twisting motion, pull it straight up and off the barrel
Step 2: Separate the Barrel from the Upper Joint:
- Hold the barrel in one hand and the upper joint in the other hand.
- Gently pull the two pieces apart while turning them slightly.
Step 3: Remove the Reed from the Mouthpiece:
- Hold the mouthpiece upside down over a tissue or cloth to catch the reed.
- Gently slide the reed out of the mouthpiece.
Step 4: Remove the Ligature and Cap:
- Grasp the ligature with your fingers.
- Slide it and the cap off together.
Step 5: Separate the Upper and Lower Joints:
- Hold the upper joint in one hand and the lower joint in the other hand.
- Gently pull them apart while slightly turning them.
Step 6: Remove the Bell from the Lower Joint:
- Hold the lower joint in one hand and the bell in the other hand.
- Gently pull the two pieces apart while slightly twisting them.
Step 7: Remove the Keywork:
- Press down on the key levers to release the pressure.
- Carefully remove the keywork from the clarinet body.
Step 8: Separate the Body Sections:
- Once the keywork is removed, you can separate the body sections by grasping each section and pulling them apart.
Step 9: Put the Clarinet Back Together:
- Reassemble the clarinet by reversing the steps, making sure to align and fit each part properly.
