How are dean guitar output jack wires color coded?

Dean guitar output jack wires are color-coded as follows:

- White: This is the hot wire. It is the only wire that should be connected to the tip of the output jack.

- Black: This is the ground wire. It should be connected to the sleeve of the output jack.

- Green or Bare: This is the shield wire. It is usually connected to the ground wire, but it can also be left disconnected.

Some Dean guitars might also have a red wire, which is the positive battery wire, and a black or white wire, which is the negative (ground) battery wire.
