What caused the Ukulele to make sound?

When a string is plucked on a ukulele, it vibrates and causes the soundboard underneath to vibrate. The vibrations of the soundboard are then amplified by the body of the ukulele, which is made of a hollow wood or plastic material. The sound waves are then projected out through the sound hole, which is located on the front of the ukulele. The shape and size of the body and sound hole affect the tone and volume of the sound produced.
