When did Mozart start performing his music?
Mozart began performing his music at a very young age. He showed extraordinary musical talent from an early age, and his father Leopold, who was a musician and composer, began teaching him to play the piano and violin at the age of four. By the time he was six years old, Mozart had composed his first piece of music, a Minuet in G major, and he began performing in public, alongside his sister Nannerl. He and Nannerl went on a concert tour of Europe from 1762 to 1766, performing for royalty and nobility in various cities, including Vienna, Paris, London, and Italy. During these early performances, Mozart would often improvise and compose on the spot, demonstrating his prodigious musical abilities.
