How did the band come up with name Breaking Benjamin?

Breaking Benjamin is an American post-grunge band formed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in 1999. The group's name comes from lead singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley's struggle with substance abuse and a near-death experience, and is meant to signify his "breaking" the curse by overcoming them.
