Who was the first person to create piano?
The first piano was created by Bartolomeo Cristofori in the late 17th century. Cristofori was an Italian harpsichord maker who lived in Florence. He began experimenting with the idea of a piano in the 1690s, and by 1700 he had completed his first successful piano. Cristofori called his invention the "gravicembalo col piano e forte," or "harpsichord with soft and loud."
