When tuning a note on piano that consists of three strings what order should the be tuned in?

1. Middle string. The middle string is the reference point for the other two strings. Using a tuning fork or other reference pitch, tune the middle string to the correct pitch.

2. Lower string. Once the middle string is tuned, the lower string should be tuned to the same pitch as the middle string.

3. Upper string. Finally, the upper string should be tuned to the same pitch as the middle string.

Tips for tuning a piano:

- Start by tuning the A above middle C. This note is often used as the tuning reference for the rest of the piano.

- Use a tuning fork or other reference pitch to ensure that the strings are tuned to the correct pitch.

- Tune the strings in small increments, making sure to check the tuning frequently.

- Be patient! Tuning a piano can be a time-consuming process, but with practice it becomes easier.
