Can street lights affect night blooming jasmine?

Night blooming jasmine (Cestrum nocturnum) is highly fragrant with night opening flowers of tubular or trumpet shape of different colours but commonly with white ones . Night flowering jasmine needs bright light of morning hours and then indirect bright light thereafter . However if it receives direct or even partial street light at night this can effect flower formation or reduce flower size of flowering night fragrant jasmine so the plants should get absolute darkness at night or street lights must not allow to affect . Hence to get best fragrant flower it is desirable to keep it indoors at places were lights dont fall or it may be protected at night from excessive lighting like street lights etc with some covering .
