The festival takes place in George Town on Grand Cayman, located in the western Caribbean about 480 miles south of Miami, Florida. Some events take place in the grounds of a former plantation house, Pedro St. James, and others in the new Camana Bay development.
Tickets can be purchased for individual days, for the Saturday and Sunday events and for the entire festival. In 2009, advance purchase prices ranged from $60 for a Friday night ticket to $204 for the weekend.
The 2009 festival featured Oleta Adams and R&B singer Peabo Bryson, with international star Alicia Keys headlining at Camana Bay on Saturday night.
