La Linea Latin Festivals take place in London once a year around April, and last several days. Tickets can be booked to individual shows online early in the year on websites such as the official site of the Barbican: barbican.org.uk. On this website, visitors can watch music videos, and listen to music which will be featured during this festival.
Special guests and Latin music artists are the features of La Linea Latin Festivals. In 2011, the stars to be featured include Latin singer Yasmin Levy with "electrifying songs and smoldering flamenco" as described by the Barbican, with special guest star, Melingo on April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Other groups featured include hip-hop group Ojos de Brujo with their special 10th Anniversary show, the Buenos Aires' new tango band, Astillero on April 10 at 7:30 p.m. and the group Depedro on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. All of these shows take place in Barbican Hall, although other shows may take place at other London venues.
Tickets for the shows featured during La Linea Latin Festivals can be booked online or in person at the Barbican. The costs range from 12 to 22 British pounds. Special discount offers are available for those who have a Barbican membership, or through multi-buy offers. Multi-buy offers include a 25% discount off the ticket prices for a combination of shows from the same series. Discounts cannot be combined.
The La Linea Latin Festival made its debut in 2000. Since then, it has "built an impressive international reputation," as stated by "Time Out" magazine. According to Como No!, London's Promoter of Live Latin Events, the festival presents new trends and moves in Latin music. It always takes place in April in Central London.
