How to Train the Ear for a Perfect Pitch

Perfect pitch is the ability to hear various pitches with accuracy. This is usually demonstrated by naming the pitches themselves or the relationships between musical intervals. Some people are born with an innate gift of having perfect pitch. While teaching perfect pitch is difficult, it is not impossible. The best time to start instruction toward perfect pitch is during childhood. With consistent practice and repetition, you might be able to develop some level of perfect pitch.
