The first Looney Tunes short was "Sinkin' in the Bathtub", released on May 19, 1930. It featured Bosko, a rubber hose animated character created by Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising. The short was produced by Warner Bros. Cartoons and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.
