Did Elvis Presley take piano lesson?

Elvis Presley did not take formal piano lessons, but he was a self-taught piano player. However, he was encouraged by his parents to learn the piano when he was a child. He would listen to his mother play the piano and would try to imitate her. He also used to listen to the radio and would try to pick out the melodies of the songs he heard. He eventually became very good at playing the piano and would perform for his family and friends.
