Soundboard:

a large piece of wood that amplifies the sound of the strings.

Bridge:

a wooden structure that holds the strings and transfers their vibrations to the soundboard.

Keybed:

the set of keys that the pianist presses to play the piano.

Key action:

the mechanism that connects the keys to the hammers and strings.

Hammers:

small hammers that strike the strings when the keys are pressed.

Pedals:

levers that the pianist can depress with their feet to change the tone or sustain of the sound.
