Harold J. Margolis (b. 1931) is an American writer and artist who has written over 20 young adult books as well as adult fiction and non-fiction. He is the author of the 1979 novel *Presently, Mrs. Reilly*, as well as the young adult novels *Triage*, *The Dirt Bike Adventure*, *How Come Nobody Likes Me?,* and the *Adventures of a Little Old Man*. He also collaborated with his father on books such as *Let us Read Fine Print*, and was a contributor to the *New York Times Book Review*.
