Basic Parts of a Radio

1. Antenna: The antenna is the part of the radio that receives signals from the air. It is usually made of metal and is located on the outside of the radio.

2. Tuner: The tuner is the part of the radio that selects which station to listen to. It is usually located inside the radio.

3. Amplifier: The amplifier is the part of the radio that boosts the weak signal from the antenna so that it can be heard through the speaker. It is usually located inside the radio.

4. Speaker: The speaker is the part of the radio that produces the sound. It is usually located on the front of the radio.

5. Power Source: The power source is the part of the radio that provides the electricity that the radio needs to operate. It is usually a battery or an AC adapter.

6. Volume Control: The volume control is the part of the radio that adjusts the loudness of the sound. It is usually located on the front of the radio.

7. Tuning Knob: The tuning knob is the part of the radio that is used to select the station to listen to. It is usually located on the front of the radio.

8. On/Off Switch: The on/off switch is the part of the radio that turns the radio on and off. It is usually located on the front of the radio.
